I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with by BSN and worked as an emergency dept RN for 6 years before transitioning to the ICU for 3 years where my primary role was in rapid response. During this time, I went on to get my MSN in nursing education and also worked as an adjunct professor at Rivier University teaching Pathopharmacology, Health Politics, Capstone, and Research. After the COVID-19 pandemic started I reevaluated my career and decided to return to school to get my Post-Master’s Diploma as a Family Nurse Practitioner so I could work in a more advanced setting outside the hospital. I worked in a pediatric primary care practice and per diem in urgent care as an NP before transitioning to urgent care full time after the birth of my son. Since, I have found a passion in the connection between hormone health as it relates to metabolic function, mental health, health promotion/prevention, and quality of life. This was driven from personal fertility and women’s health struggles that I had throughout my adult life. I now hope to use all my professional and personal experiences to help guide others with how to connect their symptoms to promote optimal wellness and longevity.
